There's no better beach for staging the Aussies than Scarborough Beach. The different conditions are likely to bring out the best in all competitors and take the competition to a new level. You will be amazed at the sunsets over the Indian Ocean at the end of each day's competition. Perth city, Fremantle and the beachside suburbs are within easy reach of each other. These precincts come alive in the evenings and you'll get to experience some of Australia's finest restaurants, cafes and watering holes. Wherever you go, you'll find friendly people and a relaxed lifestyle. It will be a celebration like no other at the 2007 Aussies, as Australia celebrates 100 years of Surf Lifesaving and the Year of the Surf Lifesaver.
